Phương Anh slipped in the top 15 of Miss International
Beauty Phương Anh was eliminated from the top 15 at the final of Miss International 2022, which took place at noon on December 13.
The top 15 contests included contestants from France, Finland, New Zealand, Peru, Germany, Cape Verde, Colombia, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Canada, Philippines, Dominican Republic, Spain, Northern Marianas and England.
Before that, the girls went through many performances. In the national costume contest, Phương Anh wore a poinsettia design by Lê Long Dũng and Thân Nguyễn An Kha, appearing near the end of the group of Asian beauties.

In the evening competition, she chose a Cherry Blossom costume made by Lê Thanh Hòa, inspired by cherry blossoms with the main pink tone. The design is 3D attached to the body of the skirt and the floor sweeps, creating a highlight when performing.
In 15 days at the contest, Phương Anh had many scoring activities with judges and contestants. She participated in cultural exchange activities, took fashion photos, studied flower arrangement, filmed interviews… On December 8, Phương Anh joined in the fun at the contestant’s party, showing off her talent by playing flute music of Michael Jackson.

On December 10, she had a swimsuit and costume contest of her choice, which received positive reviews from beauty fans. At a charity auction, Phương Anh brought an Ao Dai made by designer Châu Phạm, with a lotus motif.
Phương Anh left for Japan to take the exam on November 28. The beauty aims to win the first crown at the contest for Vietnamese beauty fans. Before the final, Phương Anh was highly appreciated by experts. The beauty site Missosology predicts that she will be ranked seventh overall.

The 24-year-old beauty was once crowned Miss Ao Dai Vietnamese Schoolgirl 2015 before becoming the 1st runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2019. She is highly regarded for her education. She used to be the valedictorian in the bilingual block of Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted, Ho Chi Minh City. She also won the third prize for national excellent students in French and was admitted directly to Hanoi Foreign Trade University and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.
In March 2021, the beauty graduated valedictorian in Information Management Systems from RMIT University. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Japanese, including IELTS 8.0. She is currently pursuing work as a model, MC, TV editor.

Miss International is one of the three major beauty contests in the world, next to Miss World, Miss Universe, first held in 1960 and takes place every year in Tokyo, Japan. This year’s contest has 70 contestants around the world, from November 30 to December 13. Miss Sireethorn Leigharamwat will crown her successor.
