Thanh Thủy: “I deserve to be crowned of Miss Vietnam 2022”

Huỳnh Thị Thanh Thủy said she deserves the title of Miss Vietnam 2022, recognized by judges and contestants.

At the noon press conference on December 24 in Ho Chi Minh City, she said that after the coronation night, the surprise was still not over, there was a sleepless night. Recalling the moment when she wore the crown, Thanh Thủy said that before going to the contest, she was not sure that she would win but believed it would make the people of her hometown in Da Nang proud. Currently, she is proud when she says she can do it, feels worthy, and is recognized by everyone for her bravery.

Miss said: “When my name was called for the highest position, my emotions were chaotic, happy and happy but also pressured, worried if I had enough strength to take on the role of Miss. I know I’m lacking. I hope my upcoming journey will receive suggestions and encouragement from everyone.”

From the beginning of the contest, Thanh Thủy was not a contestant who attracted much attention in terms of media and social networks. The new Miss said that before the final night she consulted public opinion, knowing that the person the public expected to be crowned was not her. However, she is calm because she believes that the final result will be judged by the judges, because they follow the candidates closely and will give a fair assessment. The beauty said: “I have shown a positive and energetic image. This has been recognized by the judges and contestants, so I don’t worry about the results or audience effects.”

Before that, Miss’s parents wanted her to focus on her studies first, but she found herself ready for everything to go to the contest. After successfully persuading her family, Thanh Thủy planned to exercise in the gym, learn catwalk, communicate… for many months to have the best luggage.

Previously, Thanh Thủy modeled photos to earn extra income to cover her life. She asserts that she has never lost momentum or faced pressure to earn money to lead to neglecting her studies. As proof, she has always been in the top of the top for university entrance, receiving scholarships, and being selected in the list of students to exchange with international units.

About the memorable moment at the contest, Thanh Thủy said that backstage, the contestants held hands and chanted “we can do it”. The new Miss appreciates the affection between the contestants after nearly three months of attachment, and has more good friends.

She currently does not have a boyfriend. She has not thought about personal feelings or set criteria for choosing a lover because she wants to focus her time on fulfilling her incumbent role and school work. The beauty does not put much emphasis on running shows or making money at this time. Currently, Thanh Thủy’s concern is how to follow Đỗ Thị Hà and fulfill the role of the incumbent Miss.

Huỳnh Thị Thanh Thủy is 20 years old, 1.75 m tall, measuring three rounds of 80-63-94 cm, respectively. She won the title of Miss University of Foreign Languages ​​under the University of Danang, 1st runner-up in the Da Nang City Elegant Student – Student contest in 2021. She is currently a second-year student at the Faculty of English Language, University of Danang. Foreign Languages ​​- University of Danang. At Miss Vietnam, she won an additional award “Sports Beauty”.
